Nicole's 10 year high school reunion... Oct. 18, 2008---The letter below was written in her honor, thank you Amy
In Memory of Nicci Sinkule

There are many words that can describe Nicci.  She was a friend, a daughter, and a sister.  She was loving, caring, beautiful, and kind.  She had a contagious smile and a free spirit.  She loved to draw and to drive fast!  She was part of our CCHS 98 family and she was taken from us in 2005.  We will always remember her and look back on our high school memories with bittersweet hearts.  Nicci would have been here tonight with us, her smile lighting up the room, as it always did.  Instead we honor her memory.  We miss you Nicci!  Thank you for all the memories that you were a part of.  Your spirit lives on, and we hope that continues to make that bright smile of yours shine! J

Love,
Your Class of 1998 family

Dear Family and Friends, (old and new)

Thank you for your gift of monies, time and of support at The 2nd Annual Benefit Concert, “Raising Awareness” (in memory of nicci).  Hosted by The Nicole Sinkule Foundation and held at “The House of Blues” downtown, SD.

With your support we have been able to come together once again for a cause that has been silent for to long, a cause that has now become an epidemic in our society. And it is with your help and willingness to be involved with something beyond your immediate circle that we are beginning to raise awareness, to educate, and to give guidance to those in a domestic violence situation.

This year we were able to give a generous donation to Becky’s House, which is a shelter for women and children who have fled DV situations and although we did not match our donation from last year we feel we are accomplishing our goal of raising awareness and reaching the heart… and having fun as we do it.

Please continue to spread the word that “Love does not hurt, Domestic Violence is a crime, Their Anger is not Your Fault, and You Can Get OUT!

And remember all donations are tax deductible, pictures of the concert will be posted on the website. Anyone wanting to use his or her talents to be an active part in helping make next year concert a success contact

Thank you again, hope to see you next year
